Mobile App Privacy Policy

Collection of Data
Steve Husting’s mobile apps do not collect personally identifiable data (information that could identify a user). Therefore they do not and cannot share a device users’ private information with Steve Husting or other users. With the exception of emails initiated by the user, such as through tapping on the Contact Us button, Steve Husting’s mobile apps do not send information from the app back to Steve Husting or to third-party sites, especially information about financial or health issues, user-entered database information, phone and email numbers, contacts, phone logs, text messages, web browsing history or location information, audio, video, or camera photos. Steve Husting does not track the location of its users.

However, app stores do retrieve information about purchases and downloads for business-reporting purposes and statistics, such as information on sales, device types, number of downloads, user comments on the app store, and operating systems used. This information does not include personally identifiable data. App stores do not send Steve Husting personally identifiable information on its users. A notable exception would be that Steve Husting will retain information a user submits about himself or herself when clicking on a contact link in the app to contact Steve Husting.

App Security
Steve Husting’s mobile apps contain fields in which users may, if they wish, enter private, user-identifiable information and retain it for future use. The user may elect to have the information stored in a cloud-based server. This third-party storage is not guaranteed by Steve Husting to be secure. App security is notoriously poor on mobile devices. If a user wishes to protect the information from casual theft, he or she should turn on password protection and never let the device out of his or her sight when loaning the device to another person. Equipment is available to steal the device’s information within seconds even after the device has been turned off!

Retention of User-entered Information
Due to changes in the device software by device and operating system manufacturers, retention of user-entered data is not guaranteed. It is recommended that the user export the data as often as reasonably possible after significant entries have been made. Steve Husting is not responsible for the loss of or corruption of user-entered data.

Thank you for that recent, most wonderful exegesis of that passage where the blind man had to be touched a 2nd time by Jesus.

We all have our infirmities, particularly our emotional and spiritual ones, which partially still remain and it was so hopeful to read your explanation as to why this is so. The light you shed on that passage sure does relieve a lot of emotional and spiritual anxiety.

I was hoping to find Mathew Henry’s commentary on this passage saying the same thing, but it did not. So much for any one person’s perfect understanding of all scripture.

May God richly bless the continuance of your vital ministry.

    Walter

I was raised sda, also (Therefore, am “A Recovering SDA”, NOT an “SDA”!!!) Would love to find your book “Restoring The Years”!

      • Cynthia, I have no idea where “Restoring the Years” is located. It is not a book I’ve written. I don’t think I’ve written about it this blog site. Sorry I couldn’t help.

Oh, wow! I guess I’m JUST NOW seeing YOUR REPLY, Steve! And I believe I’m just NOW “connecting-the-dots” that the book I was referring to, was written BY the other man who commented on your article, Mr. Walt Puciata, too! Sorry about that misunderstanding on my part, Steve. I’ll just try seeing if/how I can contact him. God bless you richly, Steve!
